We are seeking a highly qualified and competent Freelance Health and Social Care Trainer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of essential training programs to healthcare professionals and support staff across the North East of England. The successful candidate must be proficient in delivering training on various topics, including but not limited to Health and Safety, Care Certificate, Moving and Handling, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Administration of Medication, End of Life Care, Dementia Care, and Catheter Care.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Curriculum Development: Develop and update training materials, ensuring they align with current best practices and regulations.
3. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
4. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry developments, new regulations, and best practices to ensure training content is current and relevant.
5. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
6. Own Travel: As this is a freelance position, the candidate must be willing and able to travel across the North East of England to deliver training at various client locations.
7. Qualifications and Certifications: Ensure that all training is delivered by a qualified and competent professional. Hold relevant certifications and qualifications in the areas of Health and Social Care.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Health and Social Care Trainer.
2. Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care.
3. Competency in delivering training on Health and Safety, Care Certificate, Moving and Handling, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Administration of Medication, End of Life Care, Dementia Care, and Catheter Care.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
6. Flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs.
7. Own transportation is essential.
